When is the Family Reunion and where is it being held?
June 24 – 26, 2022, Embassy Suites Hotel, Orlando, Florida
What is the cost to attend?
Registration Fee is $175 per person (Ages 12-89); $75 per person (11 and under and 90 and over)
How do I pay and how much do I pay?
How to pay – Credit/Debit Card (online or by phone), Check (Mail). Also pay using payment plan. All and/or partial payments are accepted. Go to website: barnwellfamily.com
When is the last day to pay to attend?
April 30th, 2022
Can I register on-site or the day of?
No.
What are the cut-off dates and time frames?
April 30th, 2022
Is my registration refundable?
Yes, up to April 30th. See next FAQ.
Under what circumstances can I get a refund?
Until April 30th – a simple request. After April 30th, request must be reviewed and approved by Executive Committee but death, sickness, injury, etc.
How long will it take to process? How would I go about doing it, etc.?
3-5 days. Request must be made in writing to Reunion Committee (via email, us mail or text)
What do I get for my registration fee?
What do I get for my registration fee? Friday: Welcome Bag, T Shirt, Evening Reception; Saturday: Workshops, Pre-Dinner Reception, Saturday Dinner and Social/Dance, games, and prizes
What meals are included in the Registration fee?
Reception’s meals and Saturday Main Dinner.
What clothing is appropriate for the various events?
Saturday Main Dinner – Business Casual. Other times: Summer Casual
What weather can I expect?
June in Orlando, Florida is Sunny and Hot; Average temperature is around 87 degrees, sporadic rain from time to time.
Can I bring my family to Orlando earlier or longer and get the hotel discount?
Yes, Thursday before and through Monday after.
I have children that I want to bring- will there be activities for them?
Yes, being planned will list later
I have friends that live in the area- can I invite them to join us?
Case by case bases, request must be submitted in sufficient time to accommodate, if possible, resources (food, beverage, seating)
What happens in the event the reunion is cancelled?
Money will be refunded.
What reasons would force cancellation?
Reasons that could cause a cancellation the event may be because of acts of God like hurricanes, COVID outbreaks, lack of participation etc.
What will happen next?
Money will be refunded, and an assessment will be made on when and if possible, to do later.
If I cannot attend this family reunion with there be another one scheduled?
Yes, that is the current plan … Summer 2024. Every 2 years.
